Designed by the legendary Sonny Levi, the Triana Tantarella 35 is a true offshore classic, combining timeless styling with impressive sea-keeping abilities. Powered by twin Sabre 275hp diesel engines on shaft drives, she offers dependable cruising performance and excellent handling in a variety of conditions. With spacious accommodation including two cabins, two heads compartments, a generous saloon and practical galley, the Tantarella remains a highly sought-after classic cruiser for those looking for character, capability and pedigree!
Tantarella has throughout our ownership been looked after by Nick Oxley (Oxley Marine – Sabre specialists), winterising and servicing annually; shipwright and general maintenance by David Sharp (Dartside Boat Works); all electrics and electronics by Colin White (Pulse Marine); and Steve Kilpatrick (Mainstay Yachts) for decks and support of Dartside Boat Works!
Tantarella reportedly was the last Tantarella class boat completed by the company before its’ closure in 1981 (hull originally laid 1977). As part of the purchase she adopted the class name as her own and is British Registry certified (No. 390013). She had a complete refit, including new gel coat and replacement engines, at DML South Yard, Plymouth 1991 (first private craft following the yards privatisation) and had further major ringdeck and cabin tops work completed in Mashfords, Cremyl in 2009!
