Kerenza is a beautifully presented and extensively upgraded example of the highly regarded Beneteau Antares 13.80, offering exceptional accommodation, impressive cruising capability and a superb inventory. Having benefited from significant investment under her current ownership, she represents a particularly compelling example of this popular flybridge motor cruiser!

One of the standout features of Kerenza is the level of care, maintenance and investment she has received. She has been lifted ashore each winter in 2023, 2024 and 2025/26 at Dolphin Marine, with an extensive programme of servicing, preventative maintenance and upgrades carried out during these periods. This continued investment is evident throughout the boat and should provide considerable reassurance to her next owner!

Her striking blue hull was professionally refinished in two-pack paint by Dary Yacht Maintenance in 2025 following removal of the previous wrap, giving Kerenza a smart and contemporary appearance. Further exterior improvements include new flybridge cushions and helm seat bases in 2026, new mesh window covers, a new cockpit enclosure, new bow sunpad cushions and cover, stainless-steel rubbing strakes, underwater lighting and a bespoke stainless-steel SUP rack fitted to the rear of the flybridge!

Mechanically, Kerenza benefits from conventional shaft drive through four-bladed propellers, complemented by Maxpower electric bow and stern thrusters, making close-quarters manoeuvring considerably easier. The engines have been serviced annually during the winter lift-outs, while recent works have also included new engine alternators, servicing of both thrusters, a new stern-thruster solenoid in April 2026, re-bushed rudders, new through-hull propeller shaft seals, replacement of all seacocks in 2025, Propspeed treatment to the propellers and shafts and replacement anodes!

Her onboard systems have received equally comprehensive attention. A Fischer Panda 4.5kVA generator provides excellent independence when away from shore power and has benefited from a comprehensive service including replacement of its alternator and impeller. A Victron Energy 1600W inverter and upgraded split-charging system have been fitted, while the house and engine batteries are AGM. The 240V electrical system has also been upgraded, with the previous continental sockets replaced throughout with UK three-pin sockets incorporating USB charging points, alongside additional sockets within the saloon!

For year-round comfort, Kerenza is equipped with Webasto heating distributed through seven outlets. The system has been serviced and its associated ducting and outlets checked. Marine Starlink was fitted in 2025, providing excellent connectivity while aboard and making Kerenza particularly well suited to extended periods of cruising or working remotely!

Her navigation specification is equally impressive, with a Simrad NSS evo3 12-inch multifunction display at the lower helm and a 9-inch NSS evo3 display on the flybridge, Simrad 4G Halo radar, Simrad autopilot with remote control, side-scan transducers and GPS-derived speed, log and depth information. A rear-facing Simrad camera has also been installed to provide improved visibility over the bathing platform when manoeuvring and berthing!

Accommodation is one of the great strengths of the Antares 13.80, with Kerenza offering seven berths across three cabins plus the saloon. The spacious owner’s cabin features a queen-size double berth, twin hanging lockers, two dressing tables, opening portholes, an overhead hatch with blind and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV/DVD player. The owner’s cabin benefits from its own en-suite heads with hot and cold pressurised water, hand basin, shower, electric-flush marine toilet, vanity unit and opening Lewmar portlight!

The portside aft cabin provides a comfortable double berth together with a hanging locker, shelf, reading lights and two curtained portholes, while the starboard guest cabin offers two single berths, hanging locker, shelving, reading lights and twin portholes. A separate day heads compartment provides a hand basin and shower with hot and cold pressurised water, marine toilet, vanity unit, opening Lewmar portlight and overhead hatch!

The main saloon is spacious, bright and extremely comfortable, with cream upholstery and a large U-shaped seating area surrounding the dining table. Ample lockers and drawers provide excellent storage, while furniture to port incorporates two additional drinks refrigerators. A new flat-screen Smart TV has also recently been installed. Cherry gloss woodwork, carpeting throughout the accommodation and attractive silver-blue tinted windows with stainless-steel frames give the interior a warm and comfortable feel!

The well-equipped galley provides everything required for extended cruising, including an Eno three-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, twin stainless-steel sinks with hot and cold pressurised water, a 240V multifunction microwave and two upright refrigerators with freezer compartments, together with excellent built-in storage and a large waste bin. A new galley mixer tap has also recently been fitted!

Outside, Kerenza offers superb spaces for relaxing and entertaining. The cockpit features L-shaped bench seating and teak decking, with a full canopy enclosure. Two sets of cockpit enclosures are included, allowing the newer 2025 enclosure to be used during the summer while the original can be retained for winter protection. Teak continues across the bathing platform and side decks, with teak-laid steps leading to the flybridge!

The flybridge itself is a fantastic social area with a large sunbathing space, teak table, Bimini, dedicated covers and a recently installed top-loading 12V compressor drinks refrigerator. New flybridge cushions and helm seat bases were fitted in 2026, together with a new mixer tap. A bespoke stainless-steel SUP rack has also been fitted to the rear of the flybridge, allowing paddleboards to be carried securely without taking up valuable foredeck space!

At the stern, a Besenzoni 250kg hydraulic passerelle with remote control provides convenient boarding and additional flexibility when berthed stern-to. A new wireless passerelle remote has also been fitted. The teak bathing platform incorporates a stainless-steel boarding ladder, while two underwater transom lights fitted in 2024 can be switched between white and blue to create a fantastic appearance in the evening!

Further recent improvements include a new searchlight, new depth transducer, new pumps for the day heads and en-suite, new gas struts and retaining clips throughout the hatches and lazarettes, new transom gate hinges and bristle strip, LED navigation light bulbs, a new VHF aerial, new home mooring lines with stainless-steel springs, new pontoon dock fenders and cathodic isolator protection. Various professional gelcoat repairs have also been completed, while the teak cockpit and bathing platform have been treated annually. A fresh coat of antifoul was applied in March 2026!

Her extensive inventory is completed by a CQR anchor and chain with electric windlass, hydraulic steering, deck searchlight, navigation lights, foghorn, radar reflector, shore power, cockpit hot and cold shower, stainless-steel guard rails, underfloor storage, live bait well intake and pump, marine compasses at both helm positions, Gull Sweep deterrents to the bow, foredeck and flybridge, summer and winter windscreen covers and numerous other practical cruising features!

A tender is also available by separate negotiation!

With her generous three-cabin accommodation, excellent flybridge and exterior entertaining spaces, comprehensive Simrad electronics, generator, heating, Starlink, bow and stern thrusters and an exceptional list of recent improvements, Kerenza is a genuinely impressive example of the Beneteau Antares 13.80. The considerable investment made during her current ownership is evident throughout, and she offers an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a spacious, capable and extremely well-equipped family flybridge cruiser ready to be enjoyed!
